Christmas Flower Card

Hello, hello...

I know there is still lots of time till Christmas, but there is just something about getting ready for the Christmas Holidays. So I have for the past few weeks begun to make Christmas cards and Christmas gift tags.

Not long ago I got a new set of dies from My Favorite Things - The Poinsettia die set.....LOVE it! And of course had to try it out.

Todays card is made with the smal die and here I have just used the negative part. A Poinsettia is normally multi layered, but here for obvious reasons is only "one" negative layer :)

I have stamped several times on the card base with the sentiment (a new stamp set from Simon Says) in order to create a pattern to peek through the negative cut flower.

The main sentiment is stamped with my absolute favorite gold ink. It works magic every time! It just needs a little time to dry, otherwise you risks smudging.

The center of the flower is the center die from the Poinsettia set. Here I have die-cut it in gold card stock and added a little golden gem. This I have adhered with a 3D square to add dimension to the card.

I actually ended up making two cards. Reason was that I needed two die-cut pieces of the smaller flower for another project. You might see that soon :)

That't it for now!
Gotta get back to my craft desk and play with paper & Ink...LOL.
