Playing with Distress Ink Markers

Today I felt like playing with my new Distress Ink Markers from Tim Holtz. I totally admit being way, way behind on trying out these markers from TH. I know they have been on the market for a long time now. But better late than never.

This is how my card turned out...

For the flower I coloured the stamp with the distress markers and sprayed with water using a mini mister before stamping. This made the colours mix and excess water make the splotches.
For the leaves I also coloured the stamp with distress ink. But here I stamped before spraying with water. To help the distress ink dry I used my heat gun.

For embellishments I have used ordinary small clear pearls. These I have placed in the center of the flower shaped as the original stamp from Avery Elle.

This card I am entering into the AEIHeartU Challenge.

And I am entering the card into the CAS on Sunday Challenge with the theme
"Colour me pretty"

That is all for today.
Hope you all enjoyed the wonderful sunny weather here in Denmark.
