So it is day 1 of the new Online Card Classes where the topic yet again is Watercolour. But this time it is about exploring mediums and today is all about watercolour markers.
Today it was a total upside to be unemployed...lots and lots of time to get crafty :o)

I decided to try out Jennifer McGuire's use of markers to create a watercolour look combined with Debby Hughes' no-line colouring.
Well, practice definitely makes perfect....and I need A LOT more practice! Haha
I do not have many colours of Tim Holtz' Distress Markers so I have only used 4 colours for this card. It wasn't so easy to get the Dusty Concord to blend well with the Worn Lipstick. Perhaps it is because I am using Strathmore Mixed Media paper?
I have used two images from Altenew's Golden Garden stamp set and used Antique Linen Distress Ink to stamp with. Reason was that I wanted to try out the no-line colouring which really gave me free hands to work the image.
For the purple cardstock I have stamped with VersaMark ink to make the watermark pattern.
