Birthday Card with Chevrons

As promised I've managed to make some more cards today. This card is another Birthday Card. Honestly, you can't have too many Birthday Cards.

My card is made based on the colour scheme from Color Throwdown and the keywords from CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

The card is also inspired by the sketch from Hero Arts, where this month challenge is about...

"Just for Her - Mother’s Day cards, birthday cards, and beyond…anything created for females of all ages!"

This is how my card turned out.

The chevron cling stamp from Hero Arts is so easy to work with. I have actually cut up my stamp in 5 pieces in order to easily use it with more than one colour. Then it is easy to make for example a rainbow coloured card. But for this card I have only used one colour.

The little pearl gems from Hero Arts are my favorites. Here I have used the Sunshine Mixed Accents.

With this card I am also participating in Simon Says Stamp Challenge with the theme...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

  3. Super pretty design, Pia! Wow, you cut the rubber stamp? I cut my clear ones all the time, but I've been too chicken to try with the rubber ones, lol! Guess I'll have to try ;)
Thanks so much for playing at CAS-ual Fridays :)

  4. LOVE all your gray chevrons with the bright flower on top. Such a great combination! Those pearls add just the right amount of flair too. Thanks so much for playing at CASual Fridays!
